The court dismissed the plaintiff’s personal injury claim against a fast-food chain, finding her account of the alleged accident wholly unreliable. 

The plaintiff, a dishwasher, claimed she slipped while dragging a pot of water, injuring her back.

The court noted a lack of contemporaneous records and inconsistencies in her testimony, particularly regarding pre-existing back issues. 

Although the court hypothetically assessed damages, it applied a 95% discount due to pre-existing degenerative conditions. 

The plaintiff’s lawyer was also criticized for submitting excessive medical receipts, leading to disallowed costs.
